TFS Spoilers - Did anyone consider a certain choice in ANF when making one of the choice?

I'm talking about the choice(s) to deal with Abel. The situation had my somewhat reminiscing of the choice in ANF Episode 2 to shoot Conrad or not. Of course, frankly these kinds of situations are a dime a dozen in these games. I had Javier not shoot Conrad, and Clem was obviously not happy about that, so in my mind seeing AJ at risk and the memory of that unpleasant choice Javier made, it only made sense for her to attack Abel.

I mean, probably not for anyone else, I didn't until just after I made it, but I liked the headcanon aspect. I imagine sometimes people think of similar situations in these games that influence their thinking.

  • I think if you just let him take the food you can use that as example in the next episode while scolding AJ for killing Marlon. To make your point, you know.

  • Abel was giving me more Max(+Carver) vibes, albeit nowhere near as understandably hostile/suspicious.

I probably would've let him go.

  • Yeah, I probably would have too once I learned he only took some food, and was otherwise reasonable. But again, thick of the moment, can't say that it was a totally immoral choice (I mean the dude is pointing a gun at child and robbing you, it's not like his back is turned to you and he's taking food). Oh well. I'm sure my choice will cause me troubles.
