Tales of Monkey Island 1-Wii

Hi--I just downloaded this game for the Wii and everytime I get the map to Deep Gut, it freezes. I let it go for a couple of minutes and tried hitting everything but it won't go. Help?

    To start with, you can shut down your wii by holding down the power button for a few seconds. Is it always doing that no matter what order you go in? If that's the case, it might be worth redownloading the game.
