Louis change discussion

edited August 2018 in The Walking Dead

So we all know Louis is a goofy joking positive attitude guy, but how do you think he'll change after AJ kills what was Louis best friend from childhood? I mean, that must've hurt Louis a lot. So how do you think his personality will change and relationship towards Clementine?

  • He will understand aj had to kill his friend because he was evil

  • Knowing TT, one member of the group will probably hold it against you or AJ and hold a vandetta and try to turn the rest of the group against you. Maybe not though. I know typically their is tensions with the main protagonist and at least one character which becomes a tug of war. Episode 1 was a breath of fresh air where everyone got along for the most part but I don't see it lasting.

Season 1- Larry and Lilly gave Lee some shit no matter what he did.
Season 2- Kenny and Jane were always at it and you had to pick between them.
Season 3- David and Elanor were plotting against Javier and blaming him for shit.
    Season 4- ?

  • I would just like to mention David did not plot against Javi but he did always blame him for shit

I think he'll be sad but I think he'll be more about trying to help AJ understand that wasn't the answer? Even if Clem were to be like 'good shot.' I think he'll take into account AJ has probably had a hard time adjusting to the apocalypse, AJ's a kid and its clear he's got some trama considering how freaked he was even just being away from Clem. I can't really see Luis holding a grudge but I could be wrong and he might flip and be like 'Screw you Clem and AJ, get outta here!' He might also flip at first then calm himself down and try and think on it from AJ's perspective? Idk but I don't really see him having the heart to hate AJ.
I also don't think he's gonna blame Clem for it or their relationship change that much negatively unless she starts praising AJ for shooting his friend and acting like it isn't a big deal. If she did he'd prob blame her over AJ and assume he did it cause of how she raised him.

    Season 4- ?

If you have a good relationship with Vi, Lou will turn against Clem. If you have a good relationship with Lou, Vi will turn against Clem. If you're neutral, then it will be Tenn who will turn against Clem.

Seems like the obvious set-up for some drama for me. I do hope I'm wrong.

  • I definitely believe he'll tone down some, but he might go back to his old ways seeing as how they lost people before and he was still able to keep on smiling. Then again, Marlon was his best friend since early childhood.

  • Is this supposed to be pronounced "Loose change?"

Yes, of course he will. Even if he tries not to let it show too much.

  • the thing with david and elenor was aculy based on choices like in my game non of them wear plotig against Javi. Elenor was trying to help in my playtrue. she didnt do it out of spite

  • I think it'll be super interesting to see how he reacts. I hope he isn't angry with Clem on account of AJ's actions, but seeing how Marlon was a good friend of his, it would be understandable if he is a little cold to begin with.

Also think its important to mention that since Marlon and Louis were friends since childhood, it really highlights something important with the "who to appeal to" choice. Louis going against Marlon for Clem is significant, because hes standing up to someone he's pretty much trusted and been close to his whole life. I'm not to sure on Violets relationship with Marlon, but I doubt she was as close to him as Louis was.

That being said, I figure Violet won't be as angry with Clem and AJ as she doesn't have as significant of a reason to be. So I also wonder if those who constantly have chosen Violet over Louis will have less drama in there play through next episode?

This is why I chose Louis. I figured since that was his best friend, he was able to talk him down. It’ll create more drama between the two next episode and, hopefully, have a scene with Louis telling Clem about killing the person he loved. Also, Appealing to Violet was to simply...appeal to her.

  • Yeah, I suspect Ruby(and possibly Mitch, Omar, and/or even Willy) may be the one, for better or worse.

    Eh...not really?
Like, even your Season 2 is pretty off.

Season 1- Larry and Lilly gave Lee some shit no matter what he did.

Lilly does appreciate Lee's help and even helps him out a bit from what I've seen/heard.

David and Elanor were plotting against Javier and blaming him for shit.

Uh, no they weren't. At least not the first one.
David was always enviously disapproving of Javier and the last minute thing with Eleanor was less to do with siding against Javier and more about trying to keep things from blowing up.

  • He wasn't too keen on AJ having a gun when you first meet him, so I think that could come back to bite Clem in the ass. Or he could blame himself for letting it slide.
