Favourite NEW S4 character so far?
So I'm a little surprised to see a thread like this hasn't been created yet (or at least I don't think it has.) And was wondering now we've played episode 1 who is everyone loving and loathing?

I know he's not on the list, but AJ is my favorite because of the last scene xd.

Louis for sure! I love his bubbly personality, and I'm already angry at myself for getting attached to a character so soon because we all know how sad and depressing Telltale can get.
Defintley Louis. I wish to learn more about Omar though, he seems like an interesting character even though we know virtually nothing about him. What would be cool is like one of the secondary characters become a great primary character in the later episodes.
New characters would certainly be Violet, she's just too damn cool. Very deep intelectually with plenty of deeper layers to explore. Her chemistry with Clem and how their relationship is unraveling has been fun to watch. I want to know her more. Tenn being a very close second. I like Tenn a lot. I think he's got an amazing amount of leadership qualities and wits for a kid and a lot of his story is left uncovered.
Old characters included would of course be Clem, which is why I assume you said new characters only. But I did want to add that my favorite character in the history of walking dead is now Season 4 Mommy Clem. She has all the old things we loved about Clementine plus add a little bit of what it takes to be a mom in an undead world. It's just 1 layer on top of what already makes her special. Her new design is awesome too. I love the new art style and how they made her look. And how TT is capturing the eye animations is amazing. The light glistens in the characters eyes. It looks cool. and she still carries over many of the Clem facial expressions which is funny when she does them.

Its hard for me to decide. So far each character has had something I find annoying. I'd hafta say Aasim and Luis are prob my favorites. Aasim I like the best and Luis would be awesome if it wasn't for zombie pinata. I also like Ruby better than I thought I was going to, now that I think about it.
Haven't seen you in awhile on here but yeah I also feel like AJ already is one of the best written and it's only the first episode.
Louis and Chairles obviously, I have a liking to Violet as well. I do think we still need to see a good bit more of Ruby, Aasim and the like though. Overall I'm far preferring this new cast over ANF's.
Violet's my favorite. The way marlon was talking to clem when they first met made me go yeah okay I don't like you already. And then after what marlon did to brody I immediately hated him. I don't hate louis I just don't care about him. I dislike his approach towards clem in general but I especially didn't like his fast approach towards clem when he met her. I think he's arrogant and condescending. And when louis told violet to do better I wanted to slug him in the face. He clearly was trying to start something between clem and violet and was talking down to violet in the process.
AJ is my fav so far but he’s technically not a new character. My favorite would have to Louis, it was originally Marlon (but we all know what happened to him). I personally am not a fan of Violet that much at all, a bit to “edgy” and she reminds of LIS. I also completely hate the Violet and Clem ship. Louis is awesome, he reminds of Omid (one of my fav characters) and I completely agree with his outlook on focusing on the present instead of always thinking about the future. It’s funny because I thought I was gonna hate him the most before the game came out.
I agree with you on the whole Violet situation. When she was first introduced, I honestly thought she was being set up as Clem's rival. Not a fan, but maybe she will grow on me?
At first I wasn't feeling Violet, but she seems really cool and reserved. Plus, she defended me against Marlon when he lost his marbles. I like Louis, he's just a little extra at times. He's also very funny. They are my favorites right now.

Um, he killed Marlon without reason. Yeah Marlon did some really unpardonable things, but AJ shooting him was so uncalled for. If I could hop in the game and whoop AJ's ass, I would.
Pretty much. Since there was no option to kill him at first I was relieved when AJ offed him. (Plus I also laughed my ass off for 10 minutes straight afterwards). #NeverHesitate

Marlon despite being dead, Violet and Louis. Hope the rest of the characters get more screen time. I just wanted to say that they seem far more fleshed out than the ones in Season 2 and the one that shall not be named

Violet, Louis, and Aasim by far are my favorites
I like Louis the most out of everyone, it's about time we get an actually fun and outgoing dude to lighten the mood. I love his interactions with Clem, I think they have good chemistry together. I also liked his musical talent, and his mentality. Seriously, what's the point of living if you don't have fun? They could die any minute, at least enjoy what you got.
I really connected with these characters this episode I like them all. So far they are all very well written. Out of all of the characters Clementine is my favorite because we have watched her grow so much and I think AJ is easily the most interesting character this season.
Out of the new people my top five list is:
1.) Marlon (Brilliant character one of the best protagonists/antagonists this series has ever had. I can see why he is the episode 1 lead writer's favorite.)
2.) Louis and Violet are on equal footing. I loved both of them.
3.) Tenn
4.) Abel (Seeing the traps sabotaged and that confrontation at the train station really freaked me out. I attacked him but I get the feeling that he didn't die. You never see him die or get bitten so it is entirely possible that he survived and that choice will come back to haunt me. If he did survive I think he would make a great antagonist.)
5.) Brody
Clementine's new girlfriend.
They're all pretty great but my favourite are Louis and Marlon. Honorable mentions go to Violet, Brody, Tenn and Aasim.
Aj is the best. He has potential to be one of the best characters of the series imo
