Something that bothers me

Have you ever noticed not much time passes throughout the actual game. Time only passes significantly off screen. For example Season 1 took place over the course of just over 3 months, Season 2 about a month and a half, and Season 3 a week or less when disregarding flashbacks, so all together despite knowing she's lived throughout the apocalypse for 8 years, we've only seen roughly 5 months of it. It makes it a little less believably when she bonds with characters so quickly. Has anyone else noticed?

But you reckon without how much time passes between seasons.Example 16 months passes between Season 1 and Season 2 (approximately 2 years) and we don't know about how much pass S2 and S3 or S3 and S4.

  • Absolutely, but it's the only way for any reasonable length of time to pass and it's convient to expedite character relationships.

  • Was Season 2 a month-long time-line wise? I thought it was only like 2 weeks max.

Well, considering that she doesn't seem to encounter new people on a daily basis, I think it makes sense. Being alone for so long you gotta make new connections or whatever.
