Chuck deserves more praise than Lee. And Danny/Andy is the reason why Clementine is so capabele now

edited August 2018 in The Walking Dead

If it wasn't for Chuck, Lee would've still treat Clementine as a little girl. Chuck is the reason she can shoot a gun and why she so capable now. Not Lee. He wanted to shield it from her as much as possible. If Chuck didn't give the advice that you should treat her as a survivor, then Clementine would be mentally a lot weaker. And for those who say Chuck didn't risk his life for the little girl, he did actually. In episode 4 when Ben froze and ran away, Chuck came to the rescue. But he died because of that. I never see Chuck getting praise, only Lee. Chuck is the real and true legend.

EDIT: Danny/Andy putted the bear traps which caused Ben to join Lee's group. Later they have to leave because of Ben and then they meet Chuck! If the St John's didn't put the traps there then Lee would not have that awesome advice from Chuck.

You're right! Here's to uncle Chunk one of the homies.

  • Well Chuck certainly is a Legend, I would never dispute that. While Chuck gave really great advice and came equipped with booze. Lee put that great advice into action with spectacular results. So if Clem survives this, I am expecting her to carve Lee's face into granite not Chuck's

  • In all honesty, it just disgusts me how little respect my boy Chuck gets these days.

  • Yea, but because of Chuck, Lee did those things. He is the one who deserves the praise. (Almost) everyone could've taught her how to shoot. But Lee did it because he feels responsible for Clem.

  • No, I agree. I really liked chuck. Better than Ben anyway.

  • Chuck was better off staying on the train.

  • But then Clementine would have died.

  • Wrong, they both deserve respect, not everyone would listen to Chuck's advice and put it in action. He is a legend and saved Clementine's life when Ben froze but Lee shot those walkers as well, he didn't save her alone. I love our good ol' Charles, he's even in my top 10 of favorite TWD characters but saying Lee isn't the reason that Clementine is what she is now is wrong. He was the one who taught her in the end and not Chuck. He does deserve more praise than he gets though.

Well, everyone could've teach her how to shoot. But Chuck only told it to Lee cause he knows Lee feels responsible for her. Lee did that because of Chucks advice. If he didn't come up with it, then Lee wouldn't have done that. He would've shielded her more and more. So Chuck is the reason why Clementine us what she is know. But yea, they both should be treated as an legend. Not only Lee.

  • Chuck is like the adviser to the king. The adviser gives their viewpoint and what they think should happen, but the king decides if and how much of that advice to follow. Chuck definitely deserves credit for the solid advice he gave to Lee, but ultimately, Lee is still the one to credit. Like in real life, the king gets the credits, the advisers are footnotes.

  • True but not fair

  • Ben should get some credit for causing us to leave the motel and running into chuck.

  • That is pretty true! Ben is the real hero of the story.

Or David when we take him back to our place along with Ben and his friend.

  • True. Life isn't fair.

  • No screw it, It was the beartrap.

Or the Police officer at the beginning. If he wouldn't have crashed, then Lee would not have met Clementine. And she probably would end up being dead. He deserves credit as well!

  • Nah man, it was all thanks to the zombie apocalypse that Clem became so capable. If the dead didn't rise none of this would have happened. SMH at all the unappreciative peeps :disappointed:

  • Christa and Omid would never have met Lee and the group either. Christa may have had that baby and not lost it, Omid may still be alive. They may also have gone back home to their pissed off cat. Who knows right?
