I meant she wasn't acting like an insufferable douche during my TFS play, unlike the faulty bullets scene, and almost every single other one, in ANF. I was good with my responses and her attitude delivering them. Wasn't aware there was any more leaked info past what I've read so far, though. Interesting.
...she certainly wasn't all "void in my heart sadface" and "Where's mah bullets MUTHA****A Oops shot you in the face"
Really now? Ar… moree there some choices that I'm not aware of that change the way she acts during those scenes?
Alright, alright. Now as long as that leaked information about Clem doesn't go through, in the next episode, perhaps I'll consider giving the season a try... once they release the episodes individually.

I like how you bring up Kenny, the guy that actually smashed a guys head (determinantly) in front of Clementine. Kenny is definitely not someone you should bring up if you are talking about good morals.
Its also only natural to become more cynical as time progresses in a world like that. The most basic instincts of human beings is surviving whatever the cost
Tell me, if you were to change Clem's name, appearance, and history, would this character remind you of Clementine? Who or what made her tur… moren into this character that constantly swears, lies, robs people at gun point, kills people without any remorse, having an edgy outlook on life, etc. etc. with little explanation, if any? Lee & Kenny sure didn't change her to be like this. Did she meet someone in the alone ending that caused her to be like this? Did Jane do this to her in the span of no more than a month, before she killed herself? That's the only logical thing that I can think of, and if that's the case, it's a major stretch, because that route is determinant, happens in a very short amount of time, and makes the other routes completely pointless.
What I mean is that I'm not buying the season pass, when we don't even know how the quality of the later episodes will be.
Oh. That's fiar.
Well, I don't like buying digital stuff much anyway, which is why I've held off on buying any of Telltale's games for myself until they get physical releases.
It'd be weird if they released every episode on a separate disc.

Larry had a heart attack and was potentially going to turn. Could he have handled that situation better? Yes. But can you blame him when Larry thought his son was going to turn, and wanted him dead? He gives up Clem & AJ, so that they'll be safe in Wellington. But if you truly believe that he's a bad guy, then Lee might as well be one too, as he killed the senator, and plenty of other people as well, including 5 (determinant) direct kills with Jolene, Danny, Andy, Ben, & The Stranger (more if the bandits are included).

Being cynical and being a survivor are not the same thing.

The difference is that those were people who threatened the group and/or his own life.
Or in Ben's case, someone who was found to be a unfortunately consistent bad luck charm that asked him to just drop him in favor of getting everyone else to safety.
While I won't say I approve of Lee determinately killing some of them, it'd be justified.

I would go up to them and engage in a reasonable and civil debate regarding our opposing opinions. This exchange of ideas is how we not only… more come to a better understanding of the other side's views and helps us see them in a much more positive manner, not just as someone who we disagree with, but also serves to strengthen my own convictions and viewpoints. It also encourages further research and perspective on the subject and may enlighten me to a new way of thinking that I had not considered. Forcefully shutting down another person's believe is wrong in all forms, no matter the view or how much I think it's wrong.
You know what? Disliking Clementine? Sure, fine, I can totally understand that even if I strongly disagree
However, hating her the most...like out of the whole franchise? Even out of the game, there are characters who are either way more evil or way more badly written than her to even consider her in like a Top 10 most hated characters list, let alone having her be the #1 most hated.
I mean, come on. Even if you didn't like her character, as crazy as that is, she's very easy on the eyes. Oh, and it's a nice reaction gif to the absurdity of the proposition that she's the worst in the whole franchise. That goes to my "man" Gabe:
depends on which one they talkin about
s1/2 nobody would say that, maybe a strange mf could dislike her,no real reason to hate her tho and the most, naw there r a lotta much worse chacters around so that wouldnt happen
ANF,tho,if someone is a horrible piece of shit character,i dont really care that much, the fact a previously not shit character turned into that is a good reason to hate him/her,tho
I wont argue that Kenny is very good towards Clementine, and his priority was always protecting her. But he is an ass, and his morals in season 2 was way off course against anyone that isnt Clementine
But hey, I firmly hold the opinion that they should never have brought back Kenny for season 2

Same thing could be said about Jane. But holy shit, she is all over the place.
But hey, I firmly hold the opinion that they should never have brought back Kenny for season 2
Despite me siding with him 100%, by the end of S2, EP4, I have to agree with that. But only because everyone besides Clem, Kenny & Jane, were just meat puppets after EP2. Kenny & Jane should have never been in Season Two.
But again, going back to my original question, who or what made Clem the way she is now? Going by what we do know, the only logical answer is Jane, and as I've already stated, that's seriously stretching it, because that lasted no more than a month, it's determinant, and makes the other routes completely pointless as a result. She has no other reason to be acting the way she is.
I was more talking about Carver.

TBH Im not defending Jane, Jane is even worse than Kenny.
I dont necessarily think anyone made her the way she is. Probably her experiences did. If you think about it, everyone she has ever known is dead, most of them in an attempt to protect her. Somewhere down the line she could have easily decided that being as trusting as lee wasnt smart.
Its not like she is completely unrecognizeable, we still see many cracks showing the old CLementine in ANF, and we have seen alot of "cutesy and lovable Clem" in episode 1 of TFS. Its just that she has become more guarded with her feelings because she doesnt want to get hurt again

yeah i dont think he wasnt talkin about the clem gif
Yeah, I meant the other one.
@alekgn "Kiss me Clem, please, I'm literally dying here..."

Well then I guess you, me, and RG should be on the same team, if an outbreak happens, since we all thought of this same scene at the same time.

And what about when Larry tried to let Lee die in the Drug Store, even if you side with him to get ride of Duck, and after you get the pills for him?
What about it?
Was Larry not a threat to Lee, Kenny, or anyone for that matter, that wasn't Lilly?
Unless they want Clem to die. Then they don’t deserve an opinion.

Well, to Lee, yeah, but otherwise, he was just a huge version of that crotchey old fart everyone tolerates because he's scrupulous about work.
Yeah, kinda have to nod with you here.
Can ya'll cool it on using that imagine, please?

So she's different because of timeskip, and we should just accept that?
I can't speak completely for TFS Clem, cause I've only seen bits & pieces of her. But if that leaked info ends up happening...
Why? It's a great gif.
It doesn't seem to be animating.
Regardless, it's kinda gross to look at.
yeah i dont think he wasnt talkin about the clem gif

sorry...
