AJ is too protective ...

I hope I'm not the only one to notice how AJ is over protecting on Clem.
- He couldn't sleep for fear that something would happen to her.
- He looks so pissed to hear her suffer from nightmares.
- He even drew a painting "Me Protecting Clem".
- He killed Marlon because he was to scared he's gonna hurt Clem (he shot him when Marlon was too close to her).
- He wanted to sleep with her to protect her, he didn't seem afraid to sleep alone, he looked more stressed.
Maybe it's looks cute for some people (son want protect his mom), but i feel dark vibe from that ... I think his behavior is not natural. He's too protective and maybe it's because something really bad happened to Clem in The Runce ... (that why she have bad dreams all the time).
What do you think?

I think it's adorable! He's my favorite little sociopath!
I mean, I’d tell people to refrain from labels such as “psycho”, “sociopath” or even “Carver” (yeah, I’ve seen this one come up) for a child whose only crime is being raised in the apocalypse, but at this point I feel like that’d be asking for too much...
hes a kid born and raised in a place where you cant trust people and can get eaten at every corner...
He knows how to handle walkers, but he needs to learn how to socialise and handle people. He was kinda creeping me out with the way he was squatting at the window holding the knife.
I wonder how he will behave if/when Clem starts a relationship with Louis, or Violet.
Will he be a jealous little devil unwilling to share Clem's affection, or will he be cool with it?
Honestly neither of them should want anything to do with AJ and Clementine now.
He needs Louis in his life. Been raised by too many serious people and he never really acted like a kid. I wouldn't really say he is overprotective. More like he wants to act like a badass, but he deeply knows that if something happens to Clem then he's not gonna make it. And he will be alone.
No ... He does not think of himself, he thinks of Clementine and wants to protect her because he loves her.
Too protective for his own good.
Until we get to know why he acts like it because of the ranch I can't have a clear answer yet.
Realistically, yes. They were only there for two days before Marlon was killed by them. We'll have to see how far their thankfulness for Clem exposing what happened to Sophie and Minerva will go. Maybe Louis and Violet will want their help to find out what happened to them, if they're not dead.
He probably would've had his gun he was allowed to keep it.
(Maybe we get the choice?)
I think AJ is the most normal person I have ever seen in the walking dead, regardless of his few weird actions.
It seems like there will be a timeskip.
If there is a time skip, do you think that Sophie and Minerva will be back at the beginning of next episode? I wouldn't think that they would wait to go find them if they were close friends with Louis and especially Violet. Maybe the death of Marlon and Brody would make them hold off on the search, but I doubt they would hold off as long as what you're suggesting.
So I thought that that there might be a timeskip in the middle of the episode, but now that I think about it, I think there won't be one. I just thought that there might be a timeskip because of one line in the sneak peek but nevermind.
