Why would Cyberlife create android kids?

So I have another question about Detroit. Why would Cyberlife make robots that look and acts like kids. They were designed to serve humans, so it doesn't make sense for Cyberlife to design little kids to do that work.

  • For families that cannot have children....also a cyberlife child is cheaper in the long run than having a kid you need to feed and clothe and educate.

Mainly cause people are willing to pay for it simple as that...

  • Realistic baby dolls do exist, which while I find a bit off putting can be helpful therapy for people with dementia or those who have had miscarriages etc. I HOPE that they were created for a therapeutic purpose (though if people don’t believe in their sentience it’s pretty freaking creepy). However... considering how adult dolls were purchased to be tortured, abused, raped, etc... disgusting people exist. Plus pedophiles who buy one to abuse technically aren’t seen as committing a crime, and the android can’t go to the police. When I saw the first child android in the game it made me suuuuuuper uneasy
