Problem with Sam and Max DVDs

This isn't really a huge problem as eventually it worked. However, with both my Sam and Max DVDs when I put them in my laptop and the autorun window pops up and I click on "Install Game" it takes a very long time before the installer opens. Any reason why this is happening?

    Slow computer? Slow DVD drive? Hard drive almost full? Takes a while to copy basic install files to the hard drive and then run them? Could be any number of strange factors.

    I just haven't had this problem with any other DVDs other than Telltale's including The Sims 3 which has a much larger file size.
