So, second episode of season 9, hope it's good. Might be? I dunno.

We're one week closer to Rick Grimes departure.
It might be for the best. I can only hope Maggie stays to be the new lead.
Starting to pay more attention to what's going on again. Seems to be picking back up for me; hopefully it continues.
Father Gabriel and Anne/Jadis? Is that actually going to be a thing?
I’m not against it but theshow has a few too many interracial relationships at this point.
I love how they started writing this show how it should have been written years ago once Rick is leaving....ratings are going to fuck this show even if it comes back in quality people will leave with Rick lol.
Yeah seriously,i actually really enjoyed this episode but i can't stop thinking about Rick leaving, and i don't know if i'll keep watching the show after that..
Please don't...
Might be too late for this. Rick's death is going to make me sad for like 2 weeks probably, lol. An era comes to end. Even if the show will keep up the good form then I still think that many people will stop watching it. And it's such a freaking shame because we in Season 9 we are having the best arc from Comic Series (The Whisperers) and they will be in shadow of what will happen to Rick...
I'm torn if I should continue it too fuck lol
The episode was amazing. I liked it even more than the first one.
Finally some actual storyline, not the aimless shit we had last season (season and a half maybe? two seasons?). Characters serve their purpose, they have their own place in the story, not just inserted at random. And the story is damn good! Ironic how we get that only now, when Rick is leaving the show.
There are only two things that mildly disappointed me this episode. First - the helicopter is back. I am sorry, but I am sick with Gimple`s dangling story threads, that lead nowhere. That is such a cheap way to force people to watch the show when the ratings are clearly low. How long since we first saw that helicopter? Episode 5 Season 8? If this does not get resolved before the second time jump (and it clearly wont be) I am gonna rant so much.
I get the desire to leave little clues for future storylines, so when you look back it all ties together nicely. I liked how in season 5 there were multiple "Wolves not far" writings on the walls, how the heroes came across their atrocities multiple times before actually meeting them (I also VERY enjoyed the way Wolves seemed to get closer and closer to Alexandria, like first you see the writing on the wall in the barn before the group even reaches Alexandria, then Aaron and Daryl find a woman the Wolves killed not too far from Alexandria, then we see a walker that found its way to Alexandria and it has W carved in its forehead, in a way signalling that they are "just outside the gates, this close". Just awesome!). I liked how Negan is mentioned half a season before his actual appearance, the phrase "learn right off the bat", the polaroids of people with their heads bashed in. Hell, I even kinda liked the whisperers hint at the end of season 8. "Kinda", because at this point I was already tired of Gimple and his bullshit, and also because the poles marking the border were a bit too much. Just the herd in the distance marching towards them would have been enough.
Now to my second problem - cliffhanger at the end. I hate cliffhangers like these. If you have to do it, do it right. This reminds me of the Gimples cliffhangers. I liked this episode better than the first one, but I like the ending of the first one more.
I think ending with Negan and Rick taking would have been awesome. The savior is pulled aside wow! Why not show the hand of a person who pulled him? That would leave at least some clues for predictions. The way they made it, I am just not interested, that could have been anyone, from Whisperers(who used the missing saviors as baits) to Henry and Daryl.
Also I thought Aaron would have his hand more fucked up. But I guess it does not matter, since he loses it anyway.
Overall the episode was great, I hope the next one delivers just as much as this one and even more!
After watching the promo I liked the way they are moving storylines around. Gregory already died, even though in the comics that happened near the time of the Whisperers. It looks like the saviors are having rebellious intentions, even though in the comics that happened after the war with the whisperers. And, to conclude, in the promo we see everyone fighting each other and Rick rides between them with a gun in his hand (Like how in the comics when Alpha killed 12 people and Rick refused to retaliate, a fight broke out between groups and Rick stopped it by firing a shot in the air and showing his authority). I am definitely looking forward to the next couple episodes. When Rick leaves - who knows, we will see.
Its so much better that the last 3 seasons, its sad that many people abbandonated it
There are literally 3 across the entire show?
"few too many" lmao
Out of a cast of roughly 20 characters? That is a lot.
Loving the civil war aspect so far. Disapointed we haven't seen Magna yet, though.
And I got 100 dollars on Henry being the guy disapearing the Saviors.
It's more than average for this kind of show, i guess, but why is it a bad thing?
