No 'Your Game' description in The Last Resort

The Wallace and Gomit series work just fine on my computer, but there is one small problem. In the 'Your Game' and 'Bookmarks' description of The Last Resort, the text is not (or barely) showing up. It just shows a blank space, even with the graphics turned down to 1.

First this problem was also present in Muzzled!, but when I played past the introduction (fixing the ice cream machine), it suddenly worked again.

My graphics card is an integrated ATI Radeon HD 3300 GPU, if that helps.

    Sort of a long shot, but does changing resolution help anything?

    Nope. Neither does switching between windowed and full screen.
