The Wiki

If you don't know what I'm refering to, here's a link: https://walkingdead.fandom.com/wiki/The_Walking_Dead_(Video_Game)
The Walking Dead Game wiki has been bothering me for quite a while, especially with the character's section. Not the actual bios themselves but the statis they put the characters in. For example, there's a bandit on there which is marked determinate because either Doug or Carley can shoot them depending on who you save, but Doug and Carley themselves aren't marked as determinate. Surely their two completely different deaths in seperate episodes should warrent them to have a determinate statis. Carley and Doug aren't the only ones to get this treatment. Ben, Travis and David Parker are all marked dead, even though they all should be determinate. You may say "Oh, but maybe it's because they can't live." Well, said bandit who's marked determinate never lives, so why should that be different for others? I know I'm probably complaining about nothing, but it's still bothering me.
Oh, and also, they show a Watchmojo video on the character wiki (And now it's going to be the only thing in my YouTube reccomendations for the next year.) -

The determinant status is given to characters that CAN die depending on your choices,
If you save Carley, and Doug dies or vice versa, then either of those characters you saved WILL die later down the road, so they are listed as dead
I believe the fate of the bandit you mentioned is determined by whether or not you saved Carley in Episode 1, so their fate is determinant based on your decision from Episode 1
The reason that there are characters marked determinant is because those characters can live in certain playthroughs, such as Kenny, who can live if you stay at Wellington with AJ, but dies if you shoot him or if you leave Wellington with him, which leads to him dying due to loss of feeling in his legs leaving him incapable of movement and escape from walkers
Characters that are listed as dead die no matter what decision you make, Ben still dies in Episode 5 if you save him in Episode 4, Sarah still dies later in Season Two Episode 4 if you saved her earlier in Episode 4.

So basically to make a long explanation short:
Alive Status= Alive No matter what
Determinant Status= Alive depending on player choices, may not appear in all playthroughs
Dead Staus= Dead no matter what choices you make
