If an area on earth, let’s say, 2000 square miles, surrounded on one side by mountains and another by plains were to rain forever, how would it affect the walking dead universe

    Well the low ground would likely be the best area to stay, although there would be an extremely high probability of flooding, therefore building a settlement on a small hill surrounded by a body of water would allow for people to repopulate without needing to deal with the undead, like at all.???

    Although, it would be extremely difficult to get food and clean water, unless the community had a water purifier and fish were swimming around the flooded area. It also needs to be taken into account that some zombies are sneaky bois under water.
