At least determinant characters wont die no matter what in tfs

Cause i saw a article on domthebombs video that there will be determinant deaths and then they said theyve made a rule that a determinant character will only die by our choices which i hope is true

  • Here's hoping that they do stay true to that rule. But I think I'd rather prefer just not having determinant characters period. There's nothing demanding them to make characters we can save or not. The first two episodes haven't had any determinant characters, and I haven't really seen anybody complain about it.

It gets way harder to give a character things to do once they can possibly die. Every scene from then on has to be written and designed in a way that it can work regardless of them being there or not. And unfortunately, that's why pretty much every determinant character we've seen in the game stopped being important to the overall story after the choice to save them (with a few exceptions, like Ben)

  • I reckon definatly violet/louis are determinant soon , like david/kate , but honestly i feel everyones gonna be determinant by the end (clem&aj) or the rest will die no matter what.

  • I would definitely love for the final episode to be a free-for-all similar to Detroit: Become Human where each and every character is capable of suffering every consequence they come across.

I'm expecting more of the same telltale formula, though. Even for the last season, I just don't see the formula changing. Old habits die hard, literally.

  • Maybe there is a really bad ending where everyone dies. Like Detroit Become Human.

Hopefully they have more meaning unlike Conrad who ends up reading a book.....a fucking book

  • It was more about what the book was ultimately trying to teach.

  • Still seemed unsatisfying to me.

  • Yeah, well, From the Gallows was a very unsatisfying episode outside of certain niches. And even then

    Still seemed unsatisfying to me.

  • Season 3 just sucked. Nothing was going to redeem it.

    Still seemed unsatisfying to me.
