"A New Frontier" Clementine Questions

  1. Did you (as Javi) stay with Clementine to finish off the gang who killed Marianna or did you leave with Tripp, Kate and Gabe?
  2. Did you escape with Eleanor at night or did you leave in the morning with Tripp?
  3. How did you handle the gang's first scene in the junkyard when they caught you in their trailer?
  4. Which flashback did you get when Clem went to sleep?
  5. Which of Joan's options did you choose? Tripp or Ava
  6. Did you (as Clementine) say goodbye to the plot device or did you spit in David's face?

  • You have to hit him with a gun no matter what, the crowbar doesn't do anything tbh

  • 1.Left with Eleanor, Kate, and Gabe.

    2.Snuck out with Eleanor.

3.I honestly don't remember, but I think I tried to play submissive yet selective and/or used the "fuckin pudding" line.

    4.Her and AJ hunting wabbits.

    5.Tripp.

6.I don't know what plot device you're talking about, but I think she spit in David's face.

  • I think he shoots you.

Do you always get knocked out by their leader?

Yes, you have to knock out Lonnie and thus Max will do the same to you.

  • Crowbar?

    1. I stayed to finish the gang because I wanted revenge and I wanted to protect Clem.
    2. I left with Eleanor at night because I didn't think Javi would ever wait around if he had the chance to leave earlier. Every second could count.
    3. I tried returning the gas and then I lied about my entire story. I said I was alone, that I fucking love pudding, etc. I attacked Lonnie with a crowbar so nobody ever saw Kate and the kids.
    4. I got the flashback of driving with Kenny. It was tragic, I was upset that Kenny was dead and that it happened so quickly.
    5. I told Joan to spare Ava. She proved loyal and she was involved in the AJ subplot, whereas Tripp now hated me after he found out I killed Conrad.
    6. I said goodbye to AJ
  • Javi can attack him with a crowbar in the trailer after he hears Kate etc coughing

  • I thought he just hits him with his gun?

  • He can pick up the crowbar but he misses his swing, the crowbar gets knocked out his hand and he then fights for the gun

  • Ah. Didn't notice that.
    Okay.

  • How come OP doesn't have a "reply" under his post?
    1. Stayed with Clem
    2. Escape with Eleanor
    3. Act dumb, pretend not to hear anything, lied
    4. Got the Kenny teaching Clem how to drive, and she complain why can't they just get an automatic, there's so many to choose from. Kenny chatted about Florida, boat, and teaching AJ how to fish.
    5. Choose Tripp
    6. Said Goodbye

  • Probably something that was done away with in the forum changes.
Also, the OP arguably counts as something separate from the actual discussion posts.

What an unnecessary change. The reply easily quotes the OP and makes it easier to see what was everyones answer to OP's questions. Now we need to scroll up and down to see what the responses are for each question.

    1. I usually don't like to start conflict, but if these guys just killed a kid over pudding, they probably don't deserve to breathe. I usually like to think there's a reason for the antagonists to do what they do, that there's some noble motivation in spite of their horrible means, but this was not something I felt here. There was no possible justification. They needed to die, so I stood and fought.
    2. I escaped with Eleanor because if it was my family out there in the middle of a herd, I wouldn't waste a second.
    3. Agreed to give the fuel back... they didn't care. Told them I was alone... they didn't listen. Then Javier attacks the guy no matter what you do I think and that was that. A really... compelling conflict! Great game.
    4. Jane's, which would've been fine if it weren't a 3 minutes long underdeveloped pile of crap which got rid of the character in one of the laziest ways possible and never bothered to explain why Clementine left the safe compound of Howe's, in freaking Tennessee, just to travel to Virgina???
    5. Ava because ohmygod Tripp sucked.
  • You forgot the last one.

Oh I said goodbye to AJ. Not much to say here. What TNF was doing was unfair since my Clem didn't really end up using the medicine and tried to put it back, but I didn't really feel that strongly about the situation to just spit on David. I also didn't really feel that strongly about the Clem-AJ bond then since... they skipped all of their two years of bonding then got rid of him... so saying goodbye was not that emotional either. Overall, I don't feel strongly about this choice at all, but the only way to keep David alive is if you don't spit so that's that.
