Leaving Lilly on the side of the road after killing Carley/Doug - Hypocritical of Lee and Kenny?

If Lee leaves Lilly on the side of the road after killing Carley and Doug, would Lee and Kenny be considered hypocrites or was it the right thing for Lee? if this were the case should Kenny had been kicked out as well for killing Larry?

  • Nah, the situations are different.

On one hand you have a desperate man trapped in the room with a strong big guy like Larry who isn't breathing and nothing to kill him with had he turned into a walker right then and there. Kenny did what he felt he had to do to save everyone else. Was it a rash decision? Yeah and I still don't agree with it to this day (TO THIS DAY.....TO THIS DAY!!!), but him killing Larry had nothing to do with his disdain for him. It was a desperate survival move. And if Lilly thought he should have been kicked, she would've proposed that some time after the St. John struggle, so there's that answer for the last question.

As for Lilly's situation, neither Carley nor Doug presented any type of threat to her nor the group. Her killing Carley had little to do with the idea that she was a perpetrator in the stealing and more to do with "I'm fuckin done with this bullshit" after Carley rips her a new one. And Doug was protecting Ben from being shot. You could make the argument if she shot Ben, it'd be a hypocritical moment for Lee and Kenny because in her mind, if Ben did this what's stopping him from doing it again wherever else they go. So you could make that argument for Ben, but not for Carley or Doug.

So yeah, it's not the same. But I still wouldn't have kicked her.

  • It’s kind of hypocritical on Lee’s part since he too killed that senator because of his anger, yet never faced the consequences for it.

I mean, he did get arrested, lost his job, put on trial, apparently damaged his connection with his family, and was on his way to jail when a walker caused the car to crash, plus getting his leg injured and nearly eaten by the cop's walker.
    But yeah.

  • Larry was a threat. Carely/Doug weren't.
