Question about The St. John Brothers and the Bandits

When Mark and Lee go to get the Walkers off of the electric fence and then on the final scene of that chapter, the lights turn on and then The Bandits start attacking Lee and Mark, was that a trap set up by the brothers? or was that a coincidence?

    The brothers were planning on separating Lee and Mark from the rest of the group using the fence, but they didn't know that the bandits would attack at the same moment.

    Yeah, that was one hell of a coincidence.

    And another detail: the arrows the Bandits shoot are red, while the ones that a fried walker & Mark himself got hit with were white.
