Clem's story just seems to have turned into a goonies version of a zombie apocalypse. A video game story about teenagers to be played by teenagers. Walking Dead isn't a teenage franchise so the two concepts kind of clash.
It kinda did,but i just absolutely love the concept and think they did a great job with it,there are still some "dark" elements in this season just not as much as Season 2,it's different but that doesn't mean it's bad imo.
I can totally understand why some people are not happy with this and lost interest tho,it's really "hit or miss".
Also about Carl and Lydia,i totally disagree,i hated their entire "Romeo/Juliet" love story thing, and the writing was really cringe sometimes,it got a little better now,but it's not a "far more realistic version of how kids around Clem's age would act".
I could buy it if it wasn't meant to be taking place in the same universe (and roughly around the same time) that Carl and Sophia are out th… moreere surving. That is a far more realistic version of how kids Clem's age would be acting and being treated.

No doubt I have issues with Kirkman's writing as well at times. The whole Carl/Lydia thing just seems to be a set up for a future Carl and Sophia romance (much like we had with Rick and Andrea).
What I mean by saying the comic is a far more realistic version is that the kids in the comic are tough but they aren't going around starting wars with grown adults and winning. The game series has just gone too over the top for my tastes. I'm interested to see what Clem's fate ends up being but that is about it at this point.

Carl and Sophia have had almost entirely different experiences than her, I don’t think it’s a fair comparison. She and all the kids in TFS have survived without adults, Carl and Sophia have had guardians their entire lives. They are two completely different scenarios.
Maybe. I know most on here don't read (nor plan to read) the comic so the contradictory atmosphere's don't really bother them. But I still r… moreead every issue of the comic so the atmosphere of the game does irritate me. Would be totally fine if it wasn't meant to be taking place in the Walking Dead universe. But it is so that is why I don't really have much respect for this season even though it does have much better characterization than season 3 did.
I will always think that they never intended for this to become an ongoing series. I think if they did plan on it becoming an ongoing series they wouldn't have killed Lee off.
That is true and to be honest because of that it is completely unbelievable that any of these kids in this final season are still alive at this point. They should all be walkers at this point and not a bunch of 15 year olds rounding up a group of fellow15 year olds to go fight a community of adults
The whole concept of the final season is just a stupid idea. But I guess that is what you get when the brain trust from Telltale creates a story.

Honestly I think it’s a brilliant concept and everything that’s happened has been portrayed quite realistically, but to each their own.
