The Marquis Glitch *SPOILERS*

I'm at the part where I have to walk around the jungle and activate the idols, and on the broken one, where the Marquis is supposed to be and I'm supposed to use the "Hey, there's King Louis" line on, the Marquis isn't there! I can't continue the game now.
