Serial for the Free-episode?

Hi,

I've got an email from telltale with a serial#, what is that for, I have installed the game and are playing, did I miss something?

    the serial is tied to your account.
    it is unique but since you login with your account-info (or not at all)
    the serial doesn't really matter for you. It is just important that it is in your Account.

    How do I know if its the demo or the full episode I'm playing?

    well if you leave the ship and can walk on Floatsome Island it is the full version.
    The demo ends when you leave the ship.
