Help Please MonkeyIsland101.exe has stopped working

Hi anybody no how to get the game to run
every time i try to run it i get
'MonkeyIsland101.exe has stopped working'

Intel Core 2 Quad
Windows Vista Ultimate
4 Gig RAM
ATI Radion HD2600PRO
1TB Raid
Vista index 5.1, 5.9 on everything but graphics card

ps: demo version

Did not work

downloaded from teltale previous was bigdownload

same error, any ideas
