Yeah it does feel like they took a lot of inspiration from the Telltale games for The Batman. Serial Killer Riddler, lying Alfred and the Batman and Catwoman relationship front and centre.
Your prediction seems right-- but with a twist that Catwoman is really working for Riddler because they are friends! :P
