What songs have you been playing the crap out of for the last week or so, what's been on heavy rotation for you?

    Hmmm... tough question.
Last week: X-Ray Dog's album "Dog Eat Dog" (Soundtracks for trailers... really!)
Heavy Rotation: My own compositions (5 of them) (not allowed to say why, I just need to practice for something, it's a hush-hush thing and my business partner would kill me if I give it away).

I've been listening to the new Faithless song "Sun To Me" over and over and over again.

There is another song I can't get out of my head, probably becasue it had such a fantastic film clip. It's by an up and coming Australian band that no one has really herd of yet.

As Kanye so eloquently put, it's one of "the best videos of all time. Of all time!"

I need to find my copy of Dead Rising, put that song on repeat, and start beating zombies to it's rhythm.

    "Kill the Queen!"
    "WHAT!?"
    "The jukebox!"

It's been a lot of different music lately, due to Spotify and such. But the two songs that's been spinning in my head in the last week is Kings of Convenience - I'd rather dance with you and Bright Eyes - Bowl of Oranges. Two great artists, check them out if you haven't!

    I like you!

Do you have any suggestions in the same style as those? I don't know what the genre is called abroad, but here in Sweden we generalise it and put the "indie pop" label on everything that sounds like that

Have been listening to Green Day's 21st Century Breakdown a fair bit recently, as well as randomly going through Al Yankovic's songs (current favourites being Headline News, The Hardware Store, Christmas At Ground Zero, Yoda & The Saga Begins). Oh, and I can't get enough of that song Felicia Day & the rest of The Guild cast did (Do You Wanna Date My Avatar).

The Blind House by Porcupine Tree at the moment I would say, but I also had a relapse and started listening a lot to pink floyd and when doing that who can resist songs like Childhood's end, Wish you were here, set the controls for the heart of the sun and Bike... oh and the great gig in the sky :D
