Minecraft Story Mode Creation

Hey,
What animation software or programming is used to create Minecraft Story Mode? Just if anyone knows. As a hobby, I want to see if I can recreate a new story but I tried to find out what TellTale games used but couldn't find anything. Figured this was the best place to ask.

    Pretty sure it was Telltale's internally-developed game engine, Telltale Tool Engine.
