  • Even with GTA 6 delayed, I bet the "Wolf 2 before GTA 6" won't exist :D

  • GTA 6 just got delayed to May 2026 officially.

The original Wolf Among Us Episode 1 came out in October 14th 2013, just barely one month after GTA V came out.

So Wolf 2 just has to take longer to release than in May 2026, and we have a new champion for long-awaited sequel to popular game.

  • I wouldn't say it's a long-awaited sequel. How many people even want Wolf 2 anymore? Apart from this forum, I haven't seen many people talk about it (including YT), maybe because there's been radio silence from Telltale? Either way I think most people moved on. Didn't mean to say it like this but I can't think of any other reason.

  • I really don't think it can ever be a huge hit, but if they did it correctly it can easily be profitable. (Maybe not profitable anymore because overspent it on Expanse) The 0 communication is going to make people not care or just assume it is canceled again and the longer it goes on it hurts them. Like when they did that event, that was great for them, had they kept that momentum, I think it would have done really good. Since then, constant fumbling. Plus there just isn't much to talk about. The trailer was cool but there wasn't much there for people to really discuss or deep dive into.

Lastly, assuming it doesn't get canceled and we finally get a real update, I don't think the "We rebooted the story and got rid of the original guys" is going to be the easiest thing to spin. Now most casual people probably won't know, but that's still pretty bad.

Honestly I think Wolf 2's only hope of releasing and not sucking is AdHoc's game does really good, and Telltale just admits defeat and basically gives Wolf 2 fully to AdHoc, but that'll never happen because no way AdHoc is doing that unless it meant they own the IP and Telltale is not going to give it to them.

Imagine there's someone at Telltale who has worked on 3 versions of Wolf 2 being told they're going to throw out this draft too (this game isn't getting finished bruh)

Apparently the description had all the 6 month later stuff removed around last September. Screenshots have been gone for nearly 2 months now. Before we know it the entire page will be gone lol

Why's everyone still expecting a sequel? It's like ya'll never even played The Wolf Among Us. Another game would completely go against Ichabod's iconic speech from the Winter Wolf DLC!

  • There's been a breach of Steam user data, so it's a good time to change your password there, and if you used the same password at other sites, change those as well.

  • You know in retrospective the quote from Woody during Winter Wolf where he says "You and me Bigby. We spend all this time avoiding each other ever since we got to this city. Sometimes I wish we didn't. Really you're the only 4 YEARS FROM NOW TELLTALE GAMES WILL SHUT DOWN! TELLTALE GAMES WILL BE NO MORE! ANOTHER COMPANY WILL BUY THE RIGHTS AND KEEP TEASING WOLF AMONG US 2 BUT THEY WONT RELEASE IT INSTEAD THEY'LL JUST SPEND ALL THEIR MONEY DOING THE SAME THING THE PREVIOUS TELLTALE DID person I can talk to these days."

Like looking back at it, kind of obvious.

  • You're right. No idea why they removed them, since they were pretty much from the trailer and that's still there. (maybe because if they deleted the trailer as well, the page would be too empty)

But yeah, seems like they started over once again lol. At this point, just put it out of its misery, Telltale.

  • Dusk creating false narratives again like with "wd2 proto", I see. It's far more than that & the build is a vslice, pre-pax. There's internal documentation too and I can't just dump it here.

For whatever it’s worth; moderators cannot read/access DMs; even if we could, neither TWD nor Tales from the Borderlands are owned by Telltale 2.0, so you will not get in trouble for sharing behind the scenes prototype info via DMs.

    (Community Moderators are just volunteers.)

Went to Kumarama, an anime store and cafe to see Ms. Lindsay Sheppard & Corey Wilder, the English VAs for S-Snake and S-Bear in the One Piece anime (as well as other characters in other animes). Got an exclusive autograph picture with characters S-Snake and S-Bear (also got signed exclusive cards as well from Lindsay Sheppard).

  • So glad to see people are still posting here.

"There are no fairy tale endings."

Telltale are literally saying we're never getting our fairy tale ending, we're never getting Wolf 2. It's so obvious man the mind games are just 10/10. :D

Speaking of Dispatch, its demo is out. https://www.gematsu.com/2025/05/dispatch-demo-for-pc-now-available

  • Dispatch is fucking nice btw. Loved the demo.

  • Played the Dispatch demo and really liked it! Admittedly I did find the actual dispatching itself a bit confusing and hectic, especially the hacking mechanic which isn't really explained at all. Didn't help that I was also trying to listen to all the dialogue while having to decide who should go where. I think my only worry is whether or not the dispatch gameplay will be able to hold up for however many hours the game will last. Other than that, I thought it was fun! The humour is a little cruder than I expected, but everything looks and feels top notch. Voice acting and animation's great, and the character designs are super solid for the most part.

  • edited May 30

Yeah I feel the same. I really enjoyed the more "Telltale" part of the game. I really liked the characters and the dialogue. I feel like a lot of games like this have been really failing in this department lately, so I'm glad this game feels a lot more promising for its story and characters.

But the other half of the game, not so much. I think my main issue with it is it doesn't feel like it matters at all. It didn't really feel like it mattered who I sent where or if they failed or not. There's not even some kind of point system. Now obviously this wasn't a very long demo, but I wonder how much this side of the game will matter when it comes to character relationships and the overall story, because I didn't really find this part of the game to be very fun or interesting. Hopefully it does have larger story changes based on the choices you make during these sections.
