Guybrush needs air!

Alt-tabbed the game whilst underwater and did some things, came back a bit later. When I came back Guybrush said "Uh-oh I know I can hold my breath for ten minutes, gotta run!" Then legged it back to the boat, a nice touch Telltales, a nice touch indeed!

    Indeed. I completely agree.

Though, how the heck does he manage to enter the ship at the cannon? Isn't he supposed to climb up the anchor chain?

He's got the hook now ;)

Yeah, it was cool that they added this.

I think all of us would have tried this :D
I was sort of hoping for a fake game over screen like in CMI, but at least there was something.

I... I tried it. It was the first thing I thought of when I heard they were sending him underwater. Literally, my first thought was, "Ooooo! I wonder if I can drown him again! >u<"

I'm pretty sadistic apparently, and was disappointed when he just climbed up the chain. D: 'Course, I found it by accident after I actually tried waiting...

I fail at being a wingman. Seems like manatee dating either passes time or triggers it. :/

    That was awesome.

And the segment where you jump in the water was hilarious.

It's well known that Guybrush drowns if you leave him underwater in MI1 for ten minutes but what happens if you leave him underwater for ten minutes in MI2? Does he do a similar thing to what he does in ToMI?

    Actually...

    I dunno.

In MI2, he simply heads for the surface.

How can anyone talk under water and holding their breath beats me, but hey, I have to be picky about stuff like this.....

Ha, ha, yeah, I took so long at the manatee puzzle, and after they both finally left, when Guybrush said "Uh-oh...", I was thinking: "Oh my gosh, what's happening now?!" But when he said he couldn't hold his breath for much longer and climbed up the anchor, I laughed and thought: "Awesome!"

Yeah, it was great they added that!

Not sure, but if you leave him hanging from LeChuck's trap for 10 minutes...

Wow, I'm going to have to try that now.

Edit: Oh wait, I don't have to!

20 minutes, actually. Just in case someone wonders why nothing happens after 10 minutes.

Really? I remember it took only 5 minutes! Guess I'll have to do it again and check...

Maybe it's variable, or there are different versions. If I really are bored sometime, I might check the script.

There is a hard mode and an easy mode in the game. Does the easy mode give you twenty minutes while the hard mode you five per chance?
