[SPOILERS] A huge bug!

Ok, I've just passed Ch. 3 for the second time and I haven't seen the cutscene with Elaine and LeChuck. I can't really remember at what stage it was supposed to show up but...

Thoughts?

    I got another bug.
After taking the yellow "drink" to De Cava and making him drink it, every time I walked by the coin mountain I got the cutscene of the pirate speeding down and the liquid level lowering (even whan it was already low).

It is very early in the game.
When you're done with DeCava's quiz and slide down into the stomach, talk to LeFlay at once. When you say bye, you get the cutscene
. It is not plot-essential, just great fun.

Oh, I remember it showed only after I tried something I thought I should'nt...
    I don't remember what though. >,>
Maybe trying to call vote again when only one guy is on my side.
I remember thinking: "Oh, I already know what to do... But i'll do it anyway. Might be a funny scene".

From memory, it appeared after I exhausted all options talking with Morgan after we fell to the Narwhal's gut.

That happened to me too, it was weird. Not game breaking or anything, just unusual.

And yeah, the Elaine cutscene happens after you talk to Morgan.

I believe there's a certain question you have to ask her in order for that cutscene to show up.

I don't know if that's the case or not. I just remember I used all the dialog options and then the cutscene showed up for whatever the "goodbye" option was.

Well, if that's true, it's not well thought of. Now I wonder if I missed any other cutscene for not doing something specific.

I'm pretty sure exiting the dialog with Morgan brings it up.

I was browsing the crew dossiers of Cava and had to log out so I saved it in a slot and quit (while at browse framework)

When next day I loaded that game back I just couldn't leave the 'browse dossiers' mode, I was able to 'move' GT a little around the box, but no chance to get out of the 'view' mode so I was stuck and no chance to continue that game.

Hopefully I had the autosave on 1st save slot from a few minutes before ;)

mizar, there is a way to get out of that. If you walk around a little more, you'll hit the trigger to walk down the stairs. When that happens, the view will still, unfortunately, be stuck like that but you can hit the plank and swim down. After doing that and coming back everything will be reset and you'll be good to go.

guys what happens if someone just doesnt pick up the picture le flay drops

Hamzie, I'm guessing it never becomes a problem, because you can get back into the manatee when you're on the ship outside.

Oh and on the original point, it's a fair bug, but not as glaring as us never finding out why De Cava wants a drink.

Nah but you can go in .. get the tongue of the manatee
    swim out

and can you still go back in?

I dont think you can.. and if you cant.. picture may still be in there

Hmmm, that's curious. Gonna put spoilers here cos this is how I got the tongue of the manatee:
Held up seahorse head, got eaten, put fish on bongos, got the tongue, fed the manatee laxative
It seems that how I did it, I could have picked up a picture after step 3?

I thought about that too, but then I knew I could get back in if I wanted to. Now I realize you can only get back in once! So yeah, I guess you'd get stuck, lol.

I got a game breaking bug in exactly the same place. I was unable to walk while up on the top part of the ship. I could still click on things though like the locket, trunk of files etc, but I couldn't leave & there was nothing on the lower deck that was clickable from above.

I had to reload my autosave which was luckily only a few minutes before.

Telltale, I encountered a bug that played the "seabiscuit" cutscene too early, which meant that the cutscene would play a second time later on in the game. I wish I could remember what triggered it (I think it might have been losing the first face-off with Bugeye, and then climbing up to the ship. Could be wrong.)

So I had a Seahorse Head early, and was wondering what in the world I was supposed to use the item with, and the three pirates denied having anything to do with it. Then, I think after I'd joined the brotherhood, the cutscene started again, and it only took a few seconds to realize that Winslow had the same message for me.

Maybe the Telltale team knows what I'm talking about. I'm not sure which occurrence was the the correct one, I just know I saw it two times.

You can get back in many times, On my first play I think I was at least three times inside My doubt is if you can get back after you pick
    the tongue
. I guess so, but I will try to check.

Perhaps, just perhaps, it's because he became thirsty.

How can I phrase this in a way that isn't a spoiler? Basically, its a clue to later in the game.

And despite seeing said cutscene, it doesn't effect Guybrush's ability to get any of the yellow liquid.

Nope, Vit was right. That one actually WAS a bug. Sorry Vitoner!

I was thinking this episode was bug free but I didn't see the LeChuck / Elaine cutscene. The picture thing shouldn't be a problem because you CAN get back in more than once, I definitely did it.

Yeah he even says he's parched.

I encounted a bug where sometimes after returning from the sea the music would still be playing on top of the music that plays on the ship. On my second run through this happened after getting the sponge with the cutscene on the ship (when DeCava goes mad). Normally going back underwater fixes it (or with the cutscene it fixed itself after the cutscene was over).

Did anyone get the same bug as me?

After winning the pirate-face-thingy with Bugeye all the colour left Guybrush. Basically he was a grey model walking around. I reloaded the game and it was fine for the rest of the game.

Also, with the 'Guybrush picture', I know I didn't get it until I needed it, and it required going into the manatee for a third time so I don't think it'd be a problem.
