ToMI 2 does not work

When I try to run ToMI 2 I get a message:
With the following details:
ToMI 1 on the other works fine.
The version of the game is 1.0.0.18 (according to the launcher).
OS is windows 7 x64
Video card 9600GT (updated drivers)
When I try to run ToMI 2 I get a message:

Finally I managed to figure out whats causing The problem
Its the Hyperthreading!!!
Cancel your Hyperthreading in your Bios also will be referred to as :
"Intel HT" sometimes! so just put it on disable and you're good to go!

its still a workaround since you need to go into the bios everytime u wanna play the game but still! it works! since activision is not giving us a solution!
