Monkey island in Nintendo power

This months issue appears to have a lot of Guybrush in it. The newest issue (on sale 10/27/09) will have the review of Spinner Cay on wiiware, as well as previews of episodes 4 and 5. This comes from the www.nintendopower.com pdf previews of the issue. :)

I have the magazine (got without knowing MI would be in this month's issue) and they had a concept artwork I never saw before.

Anyway I can talk you into taking a picture or scan of the concept art?

If you can promise me Chap. 4 as a present....

Nah, I kid. Here ya go! By the way, it's my first time uploading to this website, apologizes in advance for any quality that may suck.

Im sure Nintendo put that in the article because it looks cool and not because its a hint at what is to come in the next two chapters

Well, if he gets his hand reattached, then he would most likely get the pox again. That's kind of repetitive story wise considering that he was just cured.

Man, that pic's just insane! I wonder how this id going to come about. It's not really surprising to me, considering Guybrush will probably be surrounded by plenty of poxed pirates in chapter 4

His cut-off hand wasn't cured. It still had the pox which can be seen when De Singe had it in the jar. So presumably, when he gets his hand attached back, it gives him the pox again.

    That is hilarious.

Guybrush being cured seems more like a demonstration that the sponge actually WORKS, that it's the sponge we're looking for, and that it grows a bit when it absorbs the pox.

Isn't that just concept art of 'raging Guybrush' from the first episode? If not, eh, "concept art is conceptual!" - it doesn't have to be accurate.
