Spread Bone!

edited August 2005 in Team Bone
I just thought of something after I read the latest preview at adventuregamers. Something like Firefox had a few months back, when they released Firefox 1.0 - they had some sort of marketing stuff and such going on around the globe. I saw the posters frequently around the cities, and why can't we do the same thing with Bone?

I'd love to print out some posters to be put up around in my town, and to the cities I travel to. Anything to help TellTale and my favorite comic.

It would probably help TellTale a lot, instead of going just to these forums. I can also send it to friends, and ask them to put it up as well. Bulletin boards as well. Wouldn't you?

But the question is; Who has the skills to make something like that? (to get the attention to anyone)

I wish TellTale had something like that in hand...

    On the team bone page there is this line;

    Distribute flyers in your area later this summer (comic book stores, comic book conventions, at your school, etc)

    So that probably covers the same sort of thing as your suggestion. :D

    We definitely have flyers and posters in the plans.

    There's a way for us to print out collateral from a central Kinko's locations to remote sites which we might try. Do you all have Kinkos near you? (is Kinkos as big overseas as it is here?)

    Thanks for the Firefox link. Interesting ideas there!

    I've never heard of it. And a quick google / white pages search shoes that's for good reason. They're not in New Zealand(yet).

    I haven't seen Kinko's anywhere in Europe, isn't it a FedEx branch? I guess they're international, but haven't seen any stores anywhere. But the thing you're talking about probably just concerns them printing up AND shipping stuff for you to private persons? Or?

    Kinkos is a huge business services company in the US - photocopying, computer stations that you can rent by the hour, etc. They merged with FedEx about a year or so ago.

    So that answers the question - they're not as big in all regions as they are here!

    Thanks. Seems like I've missed that.

    No problem :) I'd gladly pay for some printing myself to help you guys out. Whether we have Kinkos or not. You're my new favorite company turning my favorite comic into a game, so why shouldn't I? :D

    Off topic - I got the One Volume Edition today :D Yey! I have the same feeling when I bought Monkey Island. I just know it's special, and I know the game will be too. Collectors Item, hehe ;)
