Thinkpad r500 and adventure gaming?
Hello fellow adventure gamers!
I am contemplating buying this shiny new laptop: http://www.geekwithlaptop.com/lenovo-thinkpad-r500-notebook.
But. Will the newest Telltale games run on such a machine? Or do I need something even more modern and swanky?
(I only ever play adventure games, so I don't need a PC to run racing games or whatever it is young people enjoy playing these days.)

Leads me to believe the answer is no.
I am playing Wallace and Gromit which runs nice and smooth, and also I have no problems with the MI Demo.
The graphics card is going to give you trouble if you intend to pursue gaming down the road. For future reference, you should pursue laptops with dedicated graphics cards if you intend to take on games like Dragon Age: Origins. (which runs on my HP dv5! )
Or at least with an nvidia or ati chipset.
Perhaps someday I'll upgrade to a desktop, for serious business.
How well does DA:O run on your system? Is it like 15 fps on 800x600 settings or is it playable without looking ugly? Does it run smooth? What are your other system specs? And last, but not least, is it worth the lack of graphic and visual experience for the gaming experience of DA:O?
Thanks
