TMI Chpt. 1-It just dies

I had a different issue with Chapter 4 that I described in a previous post, but I am getting the same result...the game crashes unexpectedly. However, I can run Sam and Max (the free download game) just fine.

After installing and starting the game, I played through the first round of puzzle solving, watched the video segment and then the game died.

My drivers and DirectX are all as updated as I can get them. I am running Vista on a desktop. These are the error details I got when it crashed:

Unfortunately, that video card is technically below the minimum specs for Monkey. That said, a couple of people with that video card have had some success with turning the graphics quality and settings down as low as humanly possible to make it through that one cutscene. If that doesn't work for you, we can maybe try one or two other fiddly things.

There are some newer Graphics drivers you could try.
