Lucasarts and Action Figures

edited November 2009 in General Chat
Lucasarts or Telltale need to produce action figures or plush dolls for our favorite classic adventure heroes such as Lechuck, Guybrush, Sam n Max, Ben (from Full Throttle), tentacles, last but not least Manny Calavera and Glottis.

I believe this will make them a fortune. I really hope that telltale's next special preorder gift is something like that, im sure fans all around the world would die for such a thing.

    Sounds like a plan.

I think it's possible that LucasArts could make these someday. Like you said, they could make a LOT of money off of them, especially now that point and click adventures are making a comeback. Old fans and new would love them! (heck, I know I would)

Still, yet again and again, not as much as Star Wars. So let's forget it for this decade.

It'd be so awesome if Telltale made a company do some Sam and Max toys though. Not many would buy it maybe, but still.

Would it be possible (or legal / ethical for that matter) to extract the 3D models and get them 3D printed?

Well... it's possible, I can assure you:

But it requires a LOT of hands-on in a 3D-package.

As I have said before (and will probably say again) I want a LeChuckie plush toy.

Bonus points (and sales) if it says 'Mini-Chuckie!' when you squeeze it.

quite interesting to see how George Lucas was intelligent enough to hold the rights for the merchandise of Starwars and i assume from Indiana too (knowing merchandise makes quite a lot of money... ) but none of the games released under his name or brands has ever released a toy.

This thread has had hundreds of requests for Sam & Max plush figures over the past two years:

    Alas, Telltale hasn't responded.

    Yet.....
