Problem with CSI: Deadly Intent, Sam and Max, etc.

A while ago I bought a CD copy of season 1 of Sam&Max. It worked fine for a while but now every time I attempt to play it (or a copy of CSI: Deadly Intent I just bought) I get this message: Could not initialize Direct3D. Make sure you have current video drivers and close any other applications that might be running. I saw that somebody else asked a similar question and someone asked them to do this so here is everything I saved from the dxdiag command prompt http://www.filedropper.com/dxdiag

    So I'm pretty sure (at least) a driver update is in order on your part...
