LeChuck has won before he might win agian

in monkey island 2 if we acsept CMI coniuoty LeChuck traped him in a dream world then turned his attention to Elane meaning his plan worked and he won MI2 till he escpaed some time after MI2 but b4 CMI and since hes gone down the dark path agian maxing out the baffonness he might win agian XD

    I'm impressed that LeChuck didn't mess around and just stabbed him. I mean, no laser guided sharks, no Guybrush-seeking ants, no fiddling around with voodoo dolls that transport you to other rooms, just a quick stab, job done.

    I'm so in love with LeChuck right now. :cool:

    perhaps we can finally see the screaming chair in all it's awesome glory? And possibly a Wally Ottoman?

    yeah that was shocking really, no messing around, and stabbed him, i remember when he has a conversation in escape with ozzie mandrill, saying "cant we just kill him now, i mean ive kept him alive all this long and it never worked out" or something along thoses lines

    so i guess he said "sod this", and just stabbed him.... shows how brutal lechuck can really be

    Yeah I think this is the first time we really get to see the darker side of LeChuck. I mean in SoMI LeChuck killed the entire crew of his ship just so he would have some undead minions. And then at the end all he does is try and start up a game of Punch Out! with Guybrush. In LCR he just plays around with that voodoo doll. In CMI he doesn't do much exciting either and then EFMI ended up with Monkey Kombat (FINISH HIM!).

    In the end of Ep.4 we get to see how brutal LeChuck really can be. I think LeChuck always did have kind of a soft spot for Guybrush but in the end he just couldn't allow Guybrush to keep getting in the way. :p TTG did a great job so far. Can't wait for Ep. 5 (and then SEASON TWO!!!11).

    Fester Shinetop was a disguise as clearly indicated when LeChuck sheds the skin.

    As for Charles L. Charles, I think that was just a matter of light refraction.

    The difference here being that in Tales LeChuck is actually transformed back into a human being whereas previously he was just assuming the visual appearance of one.

    well image if when guybrush comes back from the dead after a long puzzle trying to get back to living world to stop lechuck, then somehow near the end of the chapter when you think lechuck is done and gone, someone mystriously kills guybrush from behind, and thus it leaves a cliff hanger until season 2 arrives ....and maybe you find out in season 2 that it was Wally lol

    or Wally being so blind without his monocle, trying to search his way through a jungle with one sword in his hand and stabs guybrush by accident and then wally says "opps i think i hit a rubber tree"

    I think that in a sense, LeChuck has "won" again. As of right now at least.

    He's disposed of the little wannabe pirate who's been been foiling his plans for at least a decade at this point. But LeChuck of all people should know that death is not exactly the best way keep someone out of your way. Within the series, at least.

    When LeChuck trapped Guybrush in the Carnival of the Damned, it took a couple months and a new story for him to manage to get out that sticky situation, but he DID manage to do it. Nothing can conquer Guybrush. Not even Death. To quote the manual from the second game (YES IM A DORK.):

    "...hang in there and use your imagination... you and Guybrush will eventually prevail!"


    Speaking of which, how would you properly get rid of someone for good within the Monkey Island canon? It'd be pretty cool to find out in the final chapter.

    well i know they cant kill off lechuck....as the voodoo lady said "true evil never dies"
