December 8th 1980 John Lennon was shot and killed in New York City.

Since that day people have gathered in Strawberry Fields NYC (after it was built in memmory of John) in memmory of John.

I just got back from Strawberry fields a few hours ago myself.

Here is something to do while waiting remember a mans life.

    Oh wow, to think, Next Year that would of been 30 years since it happened, the 80's are no longer 20 years ago :( will now become the decade that was 30 years ago.

    What happened to that guy? Haven't heard of him and the video you've posted isn't available in my country.

    He was one of the Beatles and was shot and killed outside close to his house in New York City in 1980.

    what happened to his murderer? is he still rotting in prison? I hope to god he never gets out.

    Mark David Chapman is actually imprisoned here in New York state. He's a little nutty still I'm pretty sure.

    RIP John. Just as sad now as it was then. Think of what he could have accomplished, were he still alive.
