Knowing is half the battle

So, guys, after having fun with the entire Tales of Monkey Island, what have you all learned from your adventures as Guybrush Threepwood, Mighty Pirate(tm)?

I've learned to never spend more than $35 on a video game. And to never pull off an all-nighter. That's killing for your morning rituals.

I've learned never to attempt to run the Monkey Island series from Secret to Tales in one sitting. I might've made it partway into Tales if my internet hadn't cut out, but just Secret to Escape wiped me out, not to mention 19 hours of my day (17 hours and 15 minutes of which were actual playing time).

I've learned that $35 is a glorious deal for this game!

    And
Time puzzles are boring. (I'm talking about waiting for Lechuck to throw me down to the deck.) Ugh.

I learned that you should never have jam toast for breakfast and then a jam sandwich for lunch if you want to stay awake in the afternoon, and that people will complain about anything.

I also learned what ichor is. I'd heard the word, I just wasn't sure of its meaning.

When I saw the title I immediately thought that Guybrush had started to do those old GI Joe "knowing is half the battle..." infomerical thingies they did.
