I finally figured out what LeChuck is missing...

His limp leg! It's been killing me since MI3, but I could never figure out what it was that made him so scary in 1 and 2. Since 3 he's been walking in a very healthy non-zombie way. It's probably minor to everyone else, though.

Well, he regenerated a lot since then.

No, now that you mention it, you're right! I can just see him limping around in MI2.. ahh, good times.

Earl Boen's voice also isn't the same. LeChuck sounds kind of like an old man at times, I know Earl is obviously 10 years older than he was when doing the last game but his voice doesn't feel the same as it did in Curse/Escape.

Watch the beginning cutscene of Curse ^^^, that LeChuck voice is badass. Having said that I'll take Earl's current voice over Mr HAR HAR HAR from Chapter 1 anyday.

Guybrush sounds younger too, point being??

Guybrush's voice over sounds fine in this game like he has got older as a character. I know I said the same thing about LeChuck in a negative way but it's more of the impact in Earl's voice, it doesn't sound as intimidating as his older LeChuck voiceover work.

I've seen other people mention it so I'm not the only one. It's still great to have the original voice over cast back though.

I don't mind voices so much. But would it be too big of a request for a limp in future installments?

Agreed. I've long thought that the limp in MI2 was a BIG part of what made him creepy. However, I do wonder if the limp would be any near as effective on a 3D model. I think a part of the scary factor comes from the 2D sprite and it's animation cycle.

Having said that, it wouldn't hurt to give it a go for LeChuck's return :D

IN MI3 you at least hat the zombie LeChuck puppet walking around like in (and using sprites from) MI2. Just remember! :D

Uh, to tell you the truth...
I don't think he's gonna be in future installments.

Seriously, never go near a geriatric ward.

    Oh, you!
This isn't the first time he's died, you know.

Ah, but it was said that this would break a cycle for them, and I assume this is it.
    Unless the
jar Morgan was carrying contained LeChuck's remains, of course.

I don't think he limped in MI1. That was a trait unique to his rotting zombie form, I assume.

For me it has been always the (lack of) lips.

That constant grin of yellow teeths on his face was scary.

Then on Curse they added those huge lips (wich continue to nowdays) and fucked him up a little.
