So, I ordered the season How do I get the DVD?

Just curious,

Will they send us an invoice for the postage soon, or something so they can ship our collectors DVD for the series or what?

Thanks :)

Good question. Seeing mine will need international shipping, I'm curious as well.

The DVD isn't up for pre-order yet. What will happen is, probably when they've authored the disc content(they add in a lot of extras and the like), they will put it up for pre-order on the site. You will place an order for $0.00+the cost of shipping to wherever it's being delivered. We probably won't see the DVD for the rest of this year, and we may not see it for a few month's time.

I have a similiar question. I pre-ordered the complete set via STEAM. How do I qualify for the DVD collection?

Unfortunately, buying the games on Steam does not qualify you for the free DVD.
In order to get it, you would have to buy the whole season again from the Telltale store.

    hmmm... Good to know.

Given that you receive digital and physical copies of the game, along with DVD slip cover or whatever, this was a really good deal.

*Bump* - Still had no word on the DVD??

Nope. My guess is you will know about it in one or more of the following ways:

    1) TTG will put in their e-mail newsletter that it's available
    2) It will be listed on the TTG website.
    3) There will be several threads on this forum about it from ecstatic gamers who are beside themselves with glee.

Rest assured, it hasn't happened yet, but before it does, TTG is going to make sure they get in the proper amounts/types of extra content. After all, this is going to be the first MI game with DVD bonus features. All the other MI games had just the game (though that's still enough to wet yourself over.) They're going to make sure they do it justice, otherwise they'll have to put up with a bunch of whiners on here who'll say they didn't do enough.

IIRC, a blogpost a week or so back said it would come "soon". 2011 doesn't seem soon to me.

EDIT: Oops, post from December. Never mind.

Note that this thread was bumped, and my post was made in late 2009. :D

EDIT: Ah, you edited as I was posting.

To be fair, they probably will either way :P

So you got some questions about the DVD, hm?

At present, we're still working on putting the DVD together to make sure it's the best one we can do. If you purchased Tales of Monkey Island, the DVD is free, plus the cost of shipping! When it's ready, there will be emails and newsletters sent out. Don't worry about changing your mailing address, you'll be able to update it when you order the disc.

We're still working on details for the Collector's Edition special DVD cover, and any extras or goodies we may want to include. Stay tuned and keep checking your email!
