Best individual episodes

edited December 2009 in General Chat
So I have several coupons for free tell-tale games, but I can't decide which ones to get. I was under the impression that most of the non TOMI games weren't as dependent story-wise on the other episodes in the season and stood on their own fairly well.
What would you say are the best (game-play/hilarity) Sam and Max or Strongbad or Wallace and Grommet episodes?

    strongbad.

sam and max have a overarching storyline. one that streaches both seasons.

wallace and gramit might be a good choice too, but ive never played them.

That's tough. It depends on what your taste is, really. I'd probably recommend the following:

Sam & Max: Abe Lincoln Must Die! (free, so you've no excuse), Reality 2.0, Chariot of the Dogs and What's New, Beelzebub?

Strong Bad: Dangeresque 3: The Criminal Projective and 8-Bit Must Die!

    Wallace & Gromit: Muzzled!

I (and this is my personal opinion, remember) think those are the best of their respective series, so you might want to give them a try. I'd recommend doing a bit of research on each beforehand though, you don't want to get Reality 2.0 and then realise that you're not all that into videogames.

    Sam & Max
Reality 2.0 ( i didn't find it overly funny, but it was the best of the S&M episodes i've played) It don't remember it being dependant on the other episodes

    Wallace & Gromit

Muzzled! (the only one i played, but i thoroughly enjoyed it) Didn't seem to rely on any of the others.

Bear in mind that Sam & Max episodes Abe Lincoln must die! and Ice station santa are free anyway.

I;ve only played Sam & Max and Monkey Island so far.

I think Chariots of the Dogs was beset for Sam and Max; Haven't played episode 4 or 5 of MI but I do like Lair of the Leviathan.

I like Sam & Max the most. The second season is more interconnected than the first. I'd start with Abe Lincoln must die to see if it's your kind of thing since that episode is already free. And if it is, go on with Reality 2.0. After that they do start needing to be played in order if you want to get them completely.
