I'm not a games programmer, but I'm a some-other-kind-of-programmer, so I tend to keep track of things going on in the industry. I hate to say it, but whenever I see tech-job-satisfaction-by-type survey results, people in the gaming industry seem to be near the bottom. That's the industry as a whole - I'm sure the people who work at Telltale are an anomaly and are absolutely thrilled to be working there. Especially when the game doesn't quite work yet and there's 300 comments in the blog post hinting that it will be released some time that day! ;) Anyway, I just want to echo other comments here to not specialize too much when you're getting your education, so you have some flexibility in case you find out the game-producing world is not for you after all.

Seher, you should go talk to Oates. And Will? Decaf. Tales is over, man. Let your kidneys recoup a little before S&M's release date is announced.
