Has Anyone Suggested...

...Quest for Glory yet? It would be much harder than Monkey Island, but hey, I'm sure Telltale is up to a challenge.

PS: My partial remake of QG1: http://www.agpgames.com/QuestforGlory.html I'm not one of the artists.

PPS: I'm suggesting Telltale do Quest for Glory 6 (rather than a remake). The license would probably be close to free at this point (the only of the Quests Vivendi chose not to re-release recently) and there are still plenty of people who would get excited about it.

I for one would like to see QFG picked back up, I loved QFG 3+5 (sadly never got 4...) though given the nature of TTG's games, and the nature of QFG I'd be very suprised if they've even considered it seriously, much less are interested in the lisence...

(Also they dont like Sierra, LA/Sierra rivalry still going on to this day ;))

And yet, most of us have played and enjoyed both (but Sierra was better :- )!

I know that the Coles are very attached to the QfG games and the alternate world they created. They're actually working on a piece of Interactive Fiction to be published by Malinche Entertainment that's set in Gloriana. So frankly, if Telltale wanted to make an episodic QfG game, I'd want them to hire or contract Corey and/or Lori Ann Cole to work on it.

And if anyone missed it, go download AGDI's QfG2 remake. They might make good collaborators as well through their for-profit group, Himalaya Studios.

I have little doubt they'd be interested in participating (even if they were to start a new character like, say, the hero's son).
