Where are games saved for Sam & Max Season One?

I'm currently playing through Sam and Max season one. However, I wish to transfer my save from episode two, Situation: Comedy to my new computer. Where can I find the save file to copy over to my new computer?

    I looked there, but couldn't find it.

    "Somedate".save
    AUTO SAVE.save
    prefs.prop

    They are in each episode's directory.

    I looked in the directory for Situation: Comedy. I found the prefs.prop files, but not the save. I launched the game to check the save was still there and it is. It manages to load, save, everything. I checked that hidden files are being shown, which they were. Any ideas as to why the saves aren't in the root folder of each episode?

    I'm playing a retail copy of the game if that helps.

    Maybe the retail saves somewhere else.

    Do a search in your HDD for *.save and see what you find.

    @SpiralArms: Are you on Vista or Windows 7? If so, your saves are in a shadow file system location called 'junction points'. This means that the saves are being saved in a different location. Somewhere around here:

    C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Telltale Games\

    Replace <user name> with the name of your Windows account name.

    Starting with some episodes in Season Two, saves are placed in your Documents folder, avoiding this issue.
