Edit post (odd issue)

Hello, so I edited a recent post I made. When I went to click save, I found it saying "Vote now" instead of "Save". When I clicked it, it saved the post as usual.

I have not been able to replicate this bug/feature yet, but I will let you know if I do.

Hi Derwin, which thread was it posted in? I'm not sure if we'll be able to track down that bug, but our best chance is to start with the thread, I think.

Here is the post in question. As I have not been able to repeat it, I don't know what more you can do as well. But thanks for looking into it! (I should have taken a screen shot, though it probably wouldn't have helped much).

*Edit* Just got it to happen again!!! (see linked screenshot). However, this time there are "Vote now" and "Save" options, where last time there was only "Vote now".

To do this, I posted this message. Then, I tried to edit it. Nothing. So I refreshed the page. Chose edit, go advanced, went back in the browser. Edit, go advanced, went back in browser. Hit edit, cancel. Edit, cancel. Then edit again and it happened. (If I remember correctly. However, I may have hit other buttons such as Quote at some point).

Using Chrome as a browser, not sure if that makes a difference.

Ok, I found the way to replicate this bug (although I do not remember doing this the first time, so there may be other ways.

I choose a post. I click the "Quote" button. I immediately go back in the browser. I then click "Edit". That is when the bug appears. I will try it again with this fresh post to verify (have tried it on two older posts).

*EDIT* Yep, this does it consistently! And now it shows up without the "Save button". See linked screenshot.

I was able to reproduce it that way with the latest stable and beta chrome version.

A vBulletin developer states that it is a Webkit issue (which chrome is based on).
