Ideas just for fun
I thought I'd just thought I'd come up with some game ideas that I know will never happen, but feel free to comment and show us what you can think up. and apologies if there's already a forum about this:
idea #1: Tomy Thomas and Friends': James Gordon and Henry’s click-em-up-venture
Plot
Based on the some-not really popular series on youtube by Trainlover476 (That's me), James, Gordon, and Henry go through 5 months of crazy jobs including Carnival managers, Newspaper reporters, workin' at Toby's, Movie Makers, and even Paranormal investigators!!! oh yeah and these other guys are in it too.
idea #2: Total Drama VIDEO GAME!!!!
Plot
Based on the most UN-reality TV show on teletoon: Chris Mclean has finally sold out to video game companies, the result: 17 of the contestants get duped into starring in 5 months of video game Challenges. with 6 different playable characters: including the big guy Owen, the loner Gwen, the delinquent Duncan, the lively Leshawna, the nerd Harold, and the crazy Izzy
and Idea #3: Chowder's food-tasticle adventure
Plot
Based on the cartoon by C.H. Greenblatt: Chowder and Mung Dahl's catering company try their hands on 5 new recipes, which result in some hi-larious antics for the purple bear, cat, rabbit thing.

These things all have the same kind of humor as the Sam & Max or Homestar Runner series; either violent & vulgar, or unique, baffling, nerdy, & nostolgic with characters who aren't so friendly with their friends.
1)Grim Fandango series (They've already done 2 LucasArts titles, why not make it three).
2)Invader Zim. (Good luck getting the rights from those buttmunches at Nickelodeon. They wouldn't even let Vasquez make a comic of it). You'd play as Dib & you'd have to prevent Zim from achieving world domination.
3)Burton World. Consisting entirely of characters from Beetlejuice, Corpse Bride & Nightmare Before Christmas. The playable character would probably be Lydia Deetz. Set in the world of the dead, accessable through a mirror, it would have sort of a Grim Wonderland feel to it.
4)CLUE (Based on the 90s 18-volume book series). You play either Reginald Boddy or an unnamed detective who has to figure out which guest stole what, killed whom, etc. It's the over-the-top rediculous personality of the characters & how much they hate eachother that made the first 6 books good before the new authors dumbed it down.
5)A Series of Unfortunate Events. You'd play Violet & have 2 siblings as Max-like sidekicks. The character designs would be based on the book art & the series would have either exactly 13 episodes or enough materieal to stretch 3 seasons. It would also be neat if your characters could die if they couldn't figure out what to do, maybe even toss in a few time limits. The soundtrack would be done by Gothic Archies.
6)Aaagh! Real Monsters! You get to interchange between Icus, Krum, & Oblina when the Grumble sends you out on missions to terrorize humans.
7)Unforgotten Realms. (Comical webtoon parody of Dungeons & Dragons). Watch the series on The Escapist.
8)Ren & Stimpy.
9)Rocko's Modern Life.
10)Clerks (Based on Kevin's Smith's "Clerk's the Animated Series").
Ooh, that could actually be really interesting. I fear for the forums after something like that (:p), but it'd be worth it.
Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Barney are abducted and probed by Kang and Kodos. The two aliens decide to abandon each person in various parts of Springfield. The four Simpson members try to find each other at the house but each one experiences a crazy adventure. Barney is on a search for beer, but even his search gets thrown off course.
The game would be episodic, with the writing done by David X. Cohen, Al Jean, Ken Keeler, Jay Kogen, Mike Reiss, John Swartzwelder, Sam Simon, and Wallace Wolodarsky.

Season 1:
Take control of either The Demon, The Cat, The Star Child or Ace from Space. Underground pop-bands are on the rise, threatening to make music free for everyone and bring down the capitalist music industry. Use their super-hero abilities, solve puzzles, make money, save the day and end it all with a huge, expensive (yet extremely profitable) live concert.
Season 2: Someone's stolen the KISS Condoms! You better find them soon, or else you'll have a whole lot of mouths to feed!
