i just finished the first seasons of Sam & Max, Wallace & Grommit, & Tales of Monkey Island and i gotta say you guys have done an absolutely brillant job, its great to be able to play well scripted funny games again

Heh. Telltale hasn't brought back adventure gaming in the slightest, it's been around the whole time. That the genre hasn't been in the spotlight, and really still isn't in the spotlight, doesn't mean it hasn't been existing. Sierra and LucasArts weren't the only adventure developers either, and nobody really wholly knows the genre until they've played some stuff from Infocom and others of that age, and some from a few other developers that AREN'T the "big two" everyone worships from the 2D graphical age.

Also, I've just realized I'm being a monumental ass.

Well at least you admitted to it.
Also I noticed you never listed SBCG4AP in your completed list, you gotta play it, although since you never played sam and max season 2 i also reccomend it in fact a little more than SBCG4AP

it wasnt until i got Grim Fandango out of a bargin bin one day that i realised how much i had missed the genre, i thought wtf is this? a new adventure game & i didnt even hear about it (it was 5 years old at the time but i can say it was the best game i had played in years), from there i got Monkey Island 4 which wasnt bad & Phyconaughts which was brillant & have only just recently discovered telltale after hearing about Sam & Max

but i played alot from other companies back in the day (Runaway, Lure Of The Temptress, Beneath a Steel Sky etc) & they just didnt hold my interest like the Lucasarts ones had (even seirra's didnt seem as good), Telltale like Lucasarts just seem to have something about them that the others were missing
