error launching game

To-day I bought monkey island.
When I wanted to launch the game. I just get an error report which doesn't make any sense (is sent to you guys) and that's the end of it.
How can I deduct what is wrong with my game?
Very frustrating:confused:

    Some details about the error (like a screenshot) and your machine (a dxdiag report) would be nice, as I'm pretty sure everyone around here is lacking the needed crystal ball to divine that information without your help...
