How do I get my Monkey Island pre-order coupon to work?

The sticky says "Monkey Island Pre-order coupons expire in June 2010" right? Even though I got it last year, it should stil work right? I copied it from the email but it doesn't seem to work. What am I doing wrong?

    I have exactly the same problem and would also like some assistance!

    I am trying to use the coupon on Bone episode 1 and I get a popup that says the code is either invalid or cannot be used on this item. :(
