    Haha. A theme exists.

    Stan
    Bubs
    Bosco
    Phoney Bone
    Only Paneer breaks the mold!

This is a pretty good match up. Stan does have the ability to warp space and time with his jacket, but think about Bosco's technical know-how (BTADS, anyone?) and Bubs' sheer shadiness (Black Market Organs?) I don't think Stan has what it takes to handle that.

    My money is on Bosco.

Nah, Stan can adapt to any situation. He's survived for three months in a coffin! Put him wherever you want and he'll find something to sell you even if it was yours to begin with. My money's on Stan.

Now if I needed someone to invent something, sure, I'd go with Bosco, but as far as selling goes, Bosco's not even trying. Without Sam and Max he wouldn't sell anything ever.

Are we doing a selling contest or a fight to the death? Because that changes everything!

Stan could sell Stan. Bosco couldn't manage the fine art of selling himself.
Why would I buy a home made soup drinker, when I could have a previously owned one?!
Stan wins selling. Wallace and Gromet win inventing.

I don't think it's possible to judge that, since Sam and Max are the only customers you ever see.

I don't know. Stan doesn't seem to have mastered the fine art of selling a used tissue for a billion dollars like Bosco has. I haven't played Escape, but Stan seems to lose money more often than he gains it.

In conclusion, the Thnikkaman would win by telling the others to shut up, kid.

Which is most likely because they're the only customers he ever gets. I'm pretty sure he himself says something to that effect at some point.

I think the problem is that Monkey Island games depend on us scamming Stan, and Sma and Max games depend on us buying something from Bosco.
But if we're to base our opinion on people other than Guybrush/Sam&Max, then it's different. Bosco seems to say he has no other customers (not that he's trying), while Stan earns enough to pay for law school. And he did sell all of his Guybrush merchandise even though he lost the trial.
(And it's possible he won his next trial. The Voodoo Lady seems very free at the end of the game.)

Ha, I was gonna post a second character battle but I guess this'll do :)

Bosco never has anything we want. And while he does have everything we need, he never gives it to us or even tell us he has it.

I like Bubs, but Original Bubs is better.

I'll just go with Stan; at least he's a competent businessman.

    I dunno, tough call...and I really liked Paneer...I just don't know why.

The splendour of Bubs, Bosco and Stan goes without saying of course

I think Bosco is great and I love browsing in his store in Sam & Max, but I'm a afraid I'm gonna have to go with Stan S. Stanman.

Okay, so if I've counted and understood correctly, the current score is:

    Stan - 4
    Bosco - 1
    Bubs - 1
    Paneer - 1
    Phoney Bone - 0

Stan's got more votes than the rest put together.

Could someone please tell me who Paneer and Phoney Bone is. I made this for only stan bosco and bubs. but if they appeared in a telltale game then they are fine too.
